Guide for Triceps Over Head Cable Extensions

  • Do not use too much weight. Focus on having contact with ONLY the triceps. You do not want to engage the whole body
  • Do not swing with the upper body, only the arms should move
  • Keep your elbows fixed through the exercise, they should not go back and forth
  • Do not flake out with your elbows, but hold them close to your head
  • Pull slowly forward
  • Load up on the eccentric and really control on the way down for every single rep.
  • You can vary the cable mount by both performing it on the floor or just above your head
  • You can perform the exercise standing or on your knees
